The Management of Water and Flood Incidents Instructor pathway is aimed at the emergency and rescue services. It is designed for teaching flood incident management.

Prerequisites

• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician (SRT)
• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Boat Operator (SFRBO)
• Management of Water and Flood Incidents (MWFI)
• EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent medical certification appropriate for the environment in which they will be working
• Prior command level flood experience
