Melissa works with our sister company, Rescue Source, helping source equipment for instructors, students, and rescue teams. Her primary focus is providing rescuers with the best gear at the best price. Feel free to reach out to her for any equipment needs.

When away from the office she is most likely spending time with her husband and five dogs, or listening to a true crime podcast.

Jaimin Kozlowski

Jaimin oversees a variety of tasks at our Wilton office, including international and domestic shipping, order processing and customer service. She is also the administrator of our social media accounts – you can contact her with any photos or information you would like us to share.

Jaimin has two sons and many animals. They enjoy life on their family farm when she’s away from work.

Mary-Margaret Miller

Mary-Margaret manages Rescue 3’s Instructor and Training Provider applications, insurance, qualifications, and other administrative aspects of Rescue 3.

Mary-Margaret loves spending time with her family.  She lives in a very small town with her husband of over 40 years.  She enjoys spending time with her son and daughter in-law, and her 3 grandchildren, as well as her extended family.  Mary-Margaret loves music, reading, creating meals and homemade gifts, camping and the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association).

Don Miller

Don Miller is the Vice President of Rescue Source and Rescue 3 International. His duties include development and maintenance of relationships, conference attendance, tradeshow exhibition, and IP protection. Don also takes orders for gear and classes and is the technical advisor to the office.

Before Rescue Source, Don has worked in customer service, law enforcement, and is a former Marine. Jen Miller, Don’s wife, is CEO of Rescue 3 International. The two live in Sacramento with their three children.

Mike Berna

Mike has 24 years in tenure in the Baltimore County Fire System. He is a member of the Baltimore County Advanced Technical Rescue Team and the Team Administrator for the Kingsville Swiftwater/Flood Rescue Team. He has also served as the Chief Officer for the Kingsville Fire Department for 6 years. He has been instrumental in the development of the Baltimore County Swiftwater/Flood Rescue Task Force and has served on the Governors Swiftwater/Flood Advisory Group for the state of Maryland. He has also been instrumental in training hundreds of Maryland rescuers in swiftwater/flood rescue and developed a state-wide response and training program. He serves as a technical specialist and consultant for the Maryland Emergency Management Agency and has served as an operational officer for Hurricanes Floyd and Isabel. He is also an instructor for the University of Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute.

He is a featured lecturer at national conferences and regional seminars and conducts classroom and field training programs throughout the country in swiftwater/flood rescue, swiftwater boat operations, and rope rescue in the aquatic environment. He has delivered programs to thousands of students including local, state, and federal personnel as well as consultation to many fire, police, and local and state emergency operations centers as well as classified government agencies. He has also provided research and development for several manufacturers of personal protective equipment for the aquatic environment. He also serves as a rescue specialist with FEMA (Urban Search and Rescue) Pennsylvania Task Force 1. He has received numerous awards for his work in the swiftwater/flood community and is the two-time recipient of the International Higgins and Langley Memorial Awards for outstanding service in the swiftwater/flood community.

Ron Morrison

As Executive Director of Raven Rescue, Ron has accumulated over a decade of delivering rescue, medical, leadership and adventure skills for first response agencies, government, industry and universities.

Most recently, Ron has spearheaded the launch of Raven Medical – a division of our company dedicated to the development and provision of leading wilderness medical training. For 15 years prior to the launch of our new program, Ron served on the Faculty Steering Committee for Wilderness Medical Associates and is currently on the Curriculum Advisory Committee for Rescue 3 International. Ron has authored several of Rescue 3’s standards for technical rescue disciplines, is an NFPA expert and a world expert in the field of technical ice rescue. Ron’s swiftwater credentials are equally impeccable as he comes from years as an expedition paddler and raft guide, has served as Education Chair for Paddle Alberta; and is an examiner for the BC Raft Outfitters Association. Rodney Sebregts

Jen Miller

In 1996, Jen Miller began her career with Rescue 3 sweeping the warehouse and restocking shelves. Since then she has worked her way through the ranks, holding various positions such as production assistant, customer service agent, warehouse assistant, warehouse manager and graphic designer.

After several years off to pursue her degree in Criminal Justice and work for the U.S. Marshal Service, she returned and accepted the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2008 Jen was elevated to the position of Vice President of Rescue 3 International and Rescue Source and most recently, has been named Chief Executive Officer of both companies.

Jen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. While studying there she met her husband, Don, at an American Criminal Justice Association-Lambda Alpha Epsilon function. They were married in 2004 and now have 3 beautiful children.

Jonathan Gorman

Jonathan is Managing Director at Rescue 3 Europe and is also a multi-discipline Instructor Trainer.

Jonathan has worked as a whitewater professional in the UK, Europe, New Zealand, Africa and the USA, where he took his first Rescue 3 SRT course in Colorado in 2005.

Travelling has always been a big part of his life and so meeting and working with people from different backgrounds and cultures from all over Europe is his dream job.

If not walking with Mabel the labradoodle, he can be found seeking out new off road trails on his gravel bike or in search of fresh powder to telemark
