Searching Rivers and Floods Instructor (SRFI)
The Searching Rivers and Floods Instructor (SRFI) pathway is designed for existing Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI) to be able to deliver SRF courses.
Prerequisites
- Searching Rivers and Floods certification
- EMT, Wilderness First Responder (WFR), or equivalent medical certification appropriate for the environment in which they will be working
Currently hold one of the following Instructor qualifications:
- Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI)
- Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Advanced Instructor (SRTAI)
Instructor training and assessment
Observe, assist & be assessed by Searching River and Floods Instructor Trainer (SRF-IT) and/or as agreed upon with Rescue 3’s International Office
Qualification valid for
2 years
Able to teach
